  • Increased sales at J. Baker to $900 million from $200 million over an eight-year period, primarily through acquisitions that strengthened the core product of shoes and diversified the company into specialty markets of Men's Big & Tall and Work 'n Gear
  • Grew sales at Filene's to more than $500 million from $300 million over four years through growth in same-store sales and by establishing new stores in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire and New York
